The Clerical Officer (CO) scale runs from €31,811 at point 1 to €49,858 at the top, across 16 points — 14 ordinary increments plus 2 long service increments. On the starting point a single PAYE worker takes home about €27,614 a year, or €2,301.14 a month, after income tax, USC and PRSI.
